upcMail in the Czech Republic is terminating its email service and deactivating all email accounts effective August 31, 2020 from the list below. All other upcMail domains will remain active.
Affected domains are: @upcmail.cz, @chello.cz, @karneval.cz, @mistral.cz and @mbox.dkm.cz
Recommended action
If you have account owners with or send email to the affected domains, it is recommended to:
- Ask account owners to update their email address.
- Stop sending email to the affected domains after August 31, 2020.
- Prevent account creation or email subscriptions with the affected domains.
Besides it’s an excellent opportunity to check, whether new clients bring clean lists by simply checking whether the mentioned domains are contained in the lists or not 🙂 Consider this your own personal spamtraps from now!
